No School—Labor Day

Academic Wednesday

Read “Copycat” and did our letter Cc worksheet. Colored a Coffee filter for our fish project.  Read the poem “Little Miss Muffet” and colored a worksheet. NOTE:  If your child does not complete their classwork, please have them finish it at home and return to receive a special sticker.

Clifford/Sight Word:

Instead of learning a new sight word for our short week, we did math by counting objects and sorting them by shapes and colors.

Fun Friday

Letter C

We made a Cow for our alphabet book, colored a Yellow book and a Yellow Car and played Fun  Friday Bingo

Large Motor:

We went outside and drew fun things with Chalk!

Director’s Notes

Parent’s Day Out (PDO):

A big thank you to all the families who were able to join us this week.  If you weren’t able to attend, a brochure was sent home to       explain our routine at preschool.  Please   return the paper as soon as possible so your child may start enjoying additional learning with this program.

Chili Cook-Off:

We are up to 10 entries for our event!  We are still looking for more…we need some tough competition, plus enough to feed your judges!  Even if you are not submitting chili, please come join us to help raise money for some classroom equipment.  We will also have an AWESOME variety of books to purchase from       Scholastic.  Start some early Christmas shopping next week!

Preschool Picture Day:

Don’t forget pictures will be taken on Wednesday, Sept. 23. Bring your smiles!
